cAgriLab aims to improve farm management and sustainability decision-making through enhanced data sharing, integration, and analytics within farms and living labs. Regenerative agriculture practices are highly location-specific, shaped by local soil conditions, climate, biodiversity, and farming systems. As a result, transferring knowledge and best practices between farms and and living labs across regions remains highly challenging. At the same time, the EU Soil Mission foresees the establishment of 100 Soil Health Living Labs and Lighthouses across Europe by 2030. However, these initiatives and the farmers who could benefit from them remain largely disconnected. cAgriLab addresses this challenge by creating a consolidated virtual living lab platform that enables real-time data sharing, collaboration, and knowledge exchange across farms and living labs in Ireland, Poland, and Finland. Methodology CAgriLab combines three core technical components: • A decentralised Digital Twin platform built on the Asset Administration Shell concept enabling farms and living labs to create, manage and share digital twins with smart contract-based access control; • AI-driven tools using low-cost devices to measure soil health parameters and enable context- aware discovery of regenerative agriculture best practices across the network; • Digital Twin Interoperability Framework delivering semantic interoperability through a common information model based on the Agriculture Information Model (AIM), linked data technologies and OGC-aligned APIs. The platform is validated through pilots in Poland, Ireland and Finland. Output A Decentralised Digital Twin Management Platform, AI Tools for Digital Twin Discovery and Analysis, and a Digital Twin Interoperability Framework – together they form the CAgriLab Platform, an open, federated system enabling real-time knowledge sharing and farm-specific sustainability recommendations across living labs and farms in multiple countries. Impact Cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange between living labs, researchers, and farmers, localised adoption of regenerative agriculture practices, improved soil health monitoring through accessible data collection tools, and an open platform scalable to other agricultural contexts - contributing to the EU Green Deal and the Soil Mission. What We Can Offer Expertise in semantic interoperability, dataspace architectures and Digital Twin systems in agriculture, including AIM standardisation, linked data integration, federated data sharing and interoperable API design. Practical experience in deploying interoperable Digital Twin systems and AI-enabled sustainability solutions in agriculture What We Need Living labs, lighthouses and farms interested in connecting to a federated knowledge-sharing network, partners with soil health data or farm management systems, including stakeholders interested in extending/validating the platform across additional regions and agricultural contexts.
